Mel Lawrenz se halla dedicado a entrenar una red internacional de líderes cristianos, pioneros en el ministerio y líderes del pensamiento. Sirvió durante diez años como Pastor Principal en la iglesia de Elmbrook, en Brookfield, Wisconsin, habiendo sucedido a Stuart Briscoe. En la actualidad sirve como ministro liberado de la iglesia de Elmbrook.
